Add your signature, and your name or the date, to a PDF without printing it. Place it exactly where you want it on any page. Your PDF is never uploaded.
How to sign a PDF
- Choose your PDF, or drop it onto the box.
- Add your signature: upload an image of it, or draw it with your finger or mouse.
- Press Add signature to this page, then drag it to the right spot and resize it with the corner square.
- Add text such as your name or the date if you need it. Tap Today to fill in the date.
- Use Previous page and Next page to move through the document, then press Create signed PDF and download it.
Good to know
- The pages of your PDF are kept as they are. Text in the document stays selectable, and nothing is turned into a picture.
- For a clean signature image with a transparent background, make one with the clean signature maker first. A JPG with a white background also works, because the tool can remove the white.
- A signature or text item can be copied to every page, which is handy for initials. Check each page afterwards.
- Text can use English letters, numbers and common symbols. Other scripts are not supported yet.
- This places an image of your handwritten signature. It is not a certificate-based electronic signature, so check what your form, office or company requires.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password first.

Is this tool free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your PDF and your signature are handled in your browser, on your own device, and are never sent to a server.
Is this a legally valid signature?
It places an image of your handwritten signature on the document. Whether that is accepted depends on the form, the office or the law that applies. Some processes need a certificate-based electronic signature instead, so check the requirement before you rely on it.
Can I draw my signature on a phone?
Yes. Choose Draw it and sign in the box with your finger. Press Use this drawing when you are happy with it.
Can I sign more than one page?
Yes. Move to the page you want, add the signature there, or use Copy to all pages. You can place as many items as you need.
Why does the preview look a little different from my PDF?
The preview is drawn by your browser, and some fonts may be replaced in it. The saved PDF keeps the original pages, and only your signature and text are added.
Will the file size change?
Only a little. Your signature image is stored once, even if you use it on several pages.
